Blatter wants to see a beach-soccer at the Olympic Games in Rio

At the press conference preceding the opening of the World Cup, FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter once again pleased beach-soccer community by assurance that beach soccer has to get into the Olympic program.

The head of the main football organization remembered how he has saw beach soccer 15 years ago in Brazil for the first time, and highlighted that since 2005 the World Championships are held under the auspices of FIFA.

FIFA President noted that a lot of work has to be done for including beach soccer in the Olympic Games official program. The relevant documents are already submitted to IOC.

We hope that Brazilians will do everything possible to include beach soccer at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
