AFFA has declared the names of the best Azerbaijani players of women football, mini football, beach soccer and the main national selection in 2009. The Ceremony of Awarding was held in “Rotunda” Room of the “Landmark” Business Centre. The event was attended by Mr. Elshad Nasirov, Vice-President of AFFA, Mr. Elkhan Mamedov, Secretary General of AFFA, Mr. Chingiz Huseynzadeh, Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee, Mr. Ismail Ismailov, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport, as well as officials of clubs, coaches and other representatives of sportive society.
Anna Atayeva was announced the best woman footballer of the country. Rizvan Farzaliyev was named the best mini football player of the year. Elvin Guliyev was announced the best beach soccer player in Azerbaijan in 2009. Vagif Javadov – best footballer and Kamran Agayev – the best goalkeeper.
